Camp Verde

Camp Verde is a large agricultural town that lies within the confines of Coconino National Forest. It is known for its corn festival which comes into full swing in July every year, but it is also a popular spot among lovers of the outdoors who want to stay within close proximity to some stunning natural scenery. In fact, Prescott National Forest lies close by, which boasts an array of glittering lakes that have excellent fishing opportunities, as well as peaceful lakeside views. Trails branch off from the lakes to take you deep into the trees, but if you would like to see a more varied landscape, head up to Coconino National Forest to have your breath taken away by the vivid red rock formations.
