Description of Glamping Units
This traditional adobe in Carson, New Mexico, called The Q, features an open spiral floor plan with a sleeping alcove, one full bathroom, and can accommodate up to seven guests comfortably. There are no actual bedrooms in this house, but the large LR/BR has a king bed, a twin bed, and 2 comfy sofa beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, the dining area seats six to eight guests. The full bathroom offers a large walk-in shower and a toilet.
For larger groups, guests can make use of additional sleeping quarters on the glamping compound. The charming Stick Casita is a nearby guest house with a bedroom, 3 twin beds and a trundle, and a full bath and kitchenette. Not far are 2 hemp tipis, 3 tents, and a camper trailer, as well as a 2+mile walking loop and a sweet campfire pit. Glamping at its finest! Come spend time in the trees!

This unique property features many amenities that guests will love. This lovely Adobe home has an open floor plan with a sleeping alcove to sleep four to seven guests, a fully-equipped kitchen, and full bathroom. Radiant floor heat, a wood stove, and a sun-splashed solarium keep this house toasty in winter.
It offers excellent Adobe construction and proper design provides comfy coolness in the summer heat. Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and a nice stereo system with mp3 jack. Cable is not provided here; however, there is a great library of books and board games makes connecting with folks fun and easy. Parking is also available on the premises.
Additionally, there is a guest house nearby, The Stick Casita, which sleeps three to four guests and has a full bathroom and kitchenette. The two tipis, three tents, and camper trailer are for those guests who prefer to spend even more time outdoors. A wonderful loop trail which takes about 50 minutes to hike, as well as a spiral labyrinth, provide great venues for walking meditation or just being out in the middle of nature.
The three miles of dirt roads are passable year-round and give guests the feeling that they are 'out there'. The Carson Cafe and Country Store are about three miles away if guests need something or want a taste of local flavor. The caretaker lives on the premises and will welcome guests with a brief orientation. This caretaker is available should glampers need anything.

Location + Surroundings
This glamping site is in the perfect location. Secluded in the high desert forest of northern New Mexico, the property itself is on 35 acres of land covered with old-growth piñon and juniper trees. Taos is about 40 minutes away and Santa Fe is about an hour and a half away. Ojo Caliente Spa and Mineral Springs is less than 30 minutes, and the Taos Ski Valley is about an hour. The Rio Grande del Norte National Monument is within eight miles. It's hard to beat this location.
Additionally, the property features a smaller house nearby, which has a full bathroom, kitchenette, two twin beds in the bedroom, and one twin bed in the cheery living area. Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs not only offers wonderful soaking pools but also great hikes through old native pottery shards and several eateries. In Rio Grande del Norte National Monument, about 20 minutes away, guests can go hiking, horseback riding, river-rafting, or swimming. In the winter, the Taos Ski Valley is a great place for all the winter activities guests would love, and Taos is a beautiful wonderland with all the holiday decorations.
For those in search of a rural retreat, guests can enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding nature while hiking on the private trails, reading, playing board games, or watching movies, (no cable TV here).
