This New Mexico glamping site is tucked away in the Sacramento Mountains, boasting luxury tipis and a treehouse. Right in the heart of the Lincoln National Forest, this property is surrounded by incredible wildlife and breathtaking mountain views. This tipi sits on a property made up of almost 10 acres. However, the property line backs up to the forest so guests have several hundred thousand acres to hike in right outside the door of the tipi. This also means plenty of wildlife. Turkey, deer, and elk are frequent visitors.

Guests will easily see why locals like to say that Cloudcroft is “9,000 feet above stress level.” The tiny town will charm all those who visit and offers some spectacular wildlife viewing. Enjoy scenic drives through the Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation.

Additional info

This site is non-smoking, and all stays require a $45 cleaning fee. We also charge a $25 pet fee for each pet and we limit each stay to 2 pets.

We provide propane firepits (we also provide the propane) because we are able to use them during fire restrictions and they are easy to use. When you are ready to go to bed at night, you just turn off the firepit.

Our forest is frequently under drought conditions, and sometimes the fire danger is such that the county, state and federal governments implement fire restrictions. The property always complies with all fire restrictions in force. Under extreme conditions, smoking is restricted to the interior of personal vehicles.
