Aragua

A state in Venezuela’s north-central region, Aragua is home to countryside, jungles, and exotic Caribbean beaches. Perhaps the best beach worth visiting is by the town of Choroní. Located north of Aragua, Choroní’s beach is surrounded by a mountain range that serves as the backdrop to Henri Pittier National Park. Another cool attraction is the city of Maracay—perhaps the most important city in Aragua.
