It's likely that guests visiting this bio-dynamic farm have an interest in learning more about how to reduce the carbon footprint and lead a more ecologically sustainable life, so the family on the farm provides a multitude of learning opportunities through structured workshops. The farm tour takes guests around to meet the animals and see just how much work has gone into making the land accessible and easy to live off of; the workshop on growing healthy vegetables teaches guests about seasonal selections, rotating crops, and companion planting; the workshop on composting and worm farming allows guests a close up look at how beneficial worms are in composting and maintaining healthy soil; the workshop on sustainable building design includes a tour of the property, where guests can learn why the family designed each structure the way they did, and how the designs help the environment.

Swimming, fishing, and birdwatching are all just a short walk from the farm, but guests looking for a day trip might enjoy visiting Liffey Falls in Deloraine, to enjoy a waterfall hike in the nearby township.
