The Space:
It offers a serene escape in the seaside town of Metung, only a 40-minute drive from Paynesville. Ideal for those seeking relaxation and exploration in Victoria's beautiful landscapes, this getaway combines the comfort of seclusion with the appeal of coastal and outdoor activities. This secluded retreat is close to natural wonders like the Den of Nargun and the Buchan caves, perfect for adventurers. Guests can unwind at the nearby Metung Hot Springs or explore the vast nearby Ninety Mile Beach too.

A comfortable, 155-square-foot accommodation is set in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.

The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water by using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny house and the surrounding areas. No access is allowed to the creek and the walking trail behind the land because of the slope. The main access is around 50 meters through the walking path.

Interaction with Guests:
Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.

This cozy, tiny house is surrounded by sprawling national parks and the waters of Australia's largest inland network of waterways Here, the rhythmic lapping of lake waters, beach ambiance, and the whispering eucalyptus trees provide a peaceful backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation, away from the hustle of city life.

- The Gippsland Lakes are the largest and most stunning inland waterways in Australia. Separated from the ocean by coastal dunes known as Ninety Mile Beach, these waterways are teeming with thriving bird and marine life.
- The Den of Nargun includes the Bluff Lookout offering panoramic views of the Mitchell River and Woolshed Creek. It features the Bataluk Cultural Trail. This trail explores the rich history of the Gunaikurnai Aboriginal people.

Getting Around:
By car:

- A 4-hour drive covering 300 kilometers connects Melbourne to Metung.
- From Bairnsdale train station, Metung is just a 30-minute drive away.
- Traveling from Metung to Lakes Entrance? Expect a short 20-minute drive covering 20 kilometers.
-The entire route is reachable with 2WD and 4WD vehicles.

By public transport:

- Start your journey from Melbourne Southern Cross Station, taking the V/Line service directly to Bairnsdale.
- Upon arrival, a taxi service is readily available to transport you directly.

- Charcoal BBQ Grill is available
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Smoking is allowed in certain areas on the property
- Please expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality
- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone; The rest have weak signals
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
