In the lounge room, guests can relax on the comfortable lounge, set their cup of tea on the coffee table, and catch a sighting or two of the native wildlife through any of the large windows covering the cabin. Alternatively, they can turn on the movie they've been waiting to watch on the wall-mounted SmarTV with a DVD player. There is also a small Bluetooth speaker in the TV cabinet for guests to make use of.

The cabin's kitchen is brand new and built with functionality in mind. It boasts an electric oven, a gas stove, an overhead range, a fridge, a dishwasher, a microwave, a Nespresso coffee machine, all necessary cookware, and tableware.

Just outside the kitchen, guests have a gas barbecue and outdoor setting to enjoy. The outdoor fire pit is always popular, and guests can bring marshmallows for s'mores.

Guests should note that there is limited cell phone service, but Wi-Fi is available to all guests. The property's location, however, does affect the connection speed and quality.

This property is located in Main Creek, New South Wales, where it is situated at the foot of the Black Bulga Range on a lush, 250-acre property full of temperate native rainforest overlooking the fern gullies of Carawirry Creek. The property is bordered by Chichester State Forest and the Black Bulga State Conservation Area, and it is less than half an hour from the southeastern corner of Barrington Tops National Park, where guests will find the Jerusalem Creek Track.

The conservation area provides habitats for an abundance of wildlife living amid Australian red cedar, native tamarins, rose maple, and wet sclerophyll eucalyptus forests. A variety of marsupials call the conservation area home, including eastern grey kangaroos, greater gliders, koalas, and parma wallabies. Other local fauna includes tiger quolls, masked owls, glossy black cockatoos, rufous bettongs, potaroos, barred frogs, Parma wallabies, and superb lyrebirds.

While the site feels remote and provides guests with plenty of seclusion in an immersive natural setting, it is also only a 20-minute drive from the charming town of Dungog, where guests will find shops, cafes, pubs, a microbrewery, antique stores, an art gallery, and supermarket, along with the James Theatre, which is the oldest continuously running movie theater in Australia. The site is about one hour from Newcastle Airport.

Other nearby swimming holes include Cascades Pool and Carowirry Pool.
