The most southern point in the USA, Ka'Lae Cliff Jump is just down the road from this property as is the world famous Papakolea Beach, which is known for its green sand. In nearby Paradise Meadows Farm, guests can pick up local produce like dehydrated macadamia nuts, award-winning Ka'u coffee, and raw Hawaiian honey. The farm also gives free tours where glampers can meet the farmers and their parrots. Ala Kahakai National Historic Trail is nearby for a beautiful coastal hike with spectacular scenery.

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is a 40-minute drive from the property for an amazing glimpse at this unique landscape. Kealakekua Bay is about an hour away for guests to swim and snorkel with wild Hawaiian spinner dolphins. At the back of the property, the host is happy to give guests a tour to see the baby goats, chickens, and the sanctuary. There is also a delightful coffee shop and flower farm within short walking distance called Ka-Lae Coffee with Wi-Fi, delicious coffee and baked goods open daily.
