O'Brien

O’Brien is a charming little community located in Josephine County, southern Oregon. It is settled right on the edge of Rogue Rover-Siskiyou National Forest, which is a very popular spot for nature activities such as fishing, hiking, and camping. To the east and south lies the vast expanse of Klamath National Forest, the majority of which is in California, although a small portion of it is in Jackson County, Oregon. O’Brien is about an hour from the nearest seaside town of Yontocket, which is over the state line in California. Those who wish to explore more of the natural wonders that this part of Oregon has to offer can take the two-hour drive to Crater Lake National Park. Closer to home there are several other activities, such as a tour of the big cats at Great Cats World Park, ziplining at Treehouse Ziplines, or wine tastings at Foris Vineyards.
