Between the countryside and the sea of Corsano, near the town, there is a small, charming and independent studio apartment that I have decided to call "The Refuge". Why the refuge? Because of the small and essential dimensions that recall the ancient Salento houses which were the homes of local farmers: it is a single room consisting of a sleeping area with a double bed and wardrobe, a small bathroom complete with shower and kitchenette. The icing on the cake is all the external space that surrounds the structure: 2000 square meters of the garden entirely enclosed by dry stone walls, planted with typical Mediterranean vegetation, characterized by a large portico ideal for breakfast, lunch and dinner, barbecue corner and corner with outdoor shower. Convenient parking inside the structure in the shade of the majestic olive trees and air conditioning are comforts that make your holiday even more relaxing.
The location in which the property falls is very suggestive: we are in the "Otranto-Santa Maria di Leuca" park, a place loved by many holidaymakers because of its tranquillity, crystal clear water, and wild and luxuriant vegetation. In just two minutes by car you can reach the fascinating Adriatic coast: Marina di Funuvojere, Piscine Naturali di Marina Serra, Ponte Ciolo; in 15 minutes the beautiful Ionian coast with its stretches of sand (Pescoluse, Maldives of Salento). The center and all services can be reached in 1 minute by car or on foot.
