Once a mining hole, Blue Lake now offers visitors turquoise blue waters to explore. Also, it was once the deepest mining hole in South Island. To be honest, this region is also known to house a few ghosts. Nonetheless, St. Bathans is an experience of its own, so you can’t go wrong with spending a day there.
