This gorgeous lodge sits on Shoal Bay, Great Barrier Island, New Zealand. Guests of this property are spoiled with nearby pristine beaches and unbeatable harbor views. The lodge is in Tryphena, the largest settlement on Great Barrier Island. Situated on the west coast, glampers will find a myriad of family-friendly beaches. There are even dolphins that often frolick near the shoreline. Though Great Barrier Island is large, it has a comparably small population. The island is dotted with gorgeous forests and pristine bays. Visitors will find an abundance of walking tracks winding their way through the trees, where they can spot local birds and wildlife. There are even secluded, natural hot springs hidden in the forest. Another popular destination is historic Kauri Dam.
