This spacious and scenic lodge with spectacular views is located near Eskdale in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand, and can accommodate up to six guests. The self-contained lodge has one bedroom and one full bathroom. In the bedroom, guests will find a luxurious king bed, making it easy to unwind and drift off to sleep after a long day of adventure. There is a cozy double bed in the lounge area as well as two single trundle beds in the upstairs loft should guests need additional sleeping space. In the bathroom, guests will find a toilet and sink. Linens and towels are kindly provided by the host.
In the living area, guests will find comfortable and stylish furniture positioned around a wooden coffee table, creating the perfect spot for playing games or chatting with a glass of wine. Guests will also enjoy a TV with a DVD player and lovely views of the surrounding forest. The equipped kitchen comes with a bench top oven, microwave, electric saucepan, and fry pan, making it easy for guests to cook delicious meals during their stay. There is also a refrigerator and various serving and cookware.
Outside, guests will be surrounded by sprawling farmland with friendly farm animals, abundant vineyards, and gorgeous views of the bay. The indoor dining area opens to a large secure deck with hooded barbeque facilities and wonderful rural, coastal, and city views.
Glampers will be able to relax in the peaceful and picturesque surroundings of the valley while also enjoying modern amenities and genuine kiwi hospitality. Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary tray of snacks and fruit, along with cozy robes and slippers. The electric blanket and extra bedding make it easy to unwind and drift off to sleep after a long day of adventure. Guests will have access to a shared modern bathroom with a shower, bath, and bidet, as well as separate private toilet facilities. There is a communal area with a TV and DVD player where guests are invited to chat with the host over a glass of wine. There is also a guest lounge with views of the Pacific Ocean and a separate dining room looking over the vineyard below.

There is a third-generation winemaker with more than 40 years of experience onsite who is passionate about the wine industry and is happy to share his knowledge with guests. His expertise is even available in the form of a personalized winery adventure tour. If interested, guests should inquire with the host to arrange the tour. Adventurous guests can spend the day hiking through New Zealand's breathtakingly gorgeous countryside, fishing in Elk River, or even taking a boat out onto the water. Mountain biking is extremely popular in the region, and various tours are offered nearby. Also on the property is a fourth generation farmer who is happy to show guests around the farm. Guests can meet the friendly farm dog and the resident farm cat, feed farm animals, and even bottle feed a lamb!
For those seeking a taste of city life, an abundance of activity can be found in neighboring town Napier. The town was completely destroyed by an earthquake in 1931, then completely rebuilt in Art Deco style. There, guests can enjoy unique architecture, check out the kid-friendly aquarium, take a walking tour of local art galleries, or sip a latte in a charming cafe. Napier offers excellent nightlife and entertainment and is just a short drive from the property.
