Welcome! The ideal tiny house NZ escape set in a rural farmland area of Taranaki, just 5 minutes from the popular Oakura surf beach. Offering stunning panoramic views of Mount Taranaki and gentle waves that help you feel at peace on the wild and rugged Taranaki coastline—home to more than 12 world-class surf breaks and the symmetrical volcanic cone of Mt Taranaki.

On top of that, there are numerous activities available for vacationers such as river rafting, multi-day walks through native woods, and more.

The Space:
It sits in the rural coastal area of Tataramiaka, Taranaki. A comfortable accommodation and one of the best tiny house rentals in the area with a queen-sized bed up in the loft. Located in a private area of our land with stunning farmland, mountains, and sea views.

Complete with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for your use.

If you plan to spend your tiny house NZ escape here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you!

IMPORTANT NOTE: We would like to advise guests that this is a lifestyle property with a large orchard, two beehives, heritage breed chickens, and friendly Wiltshire sheep. Expect farm animal noise and agricultural noise.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house, the orchard, and the paddocks with prior arrangements with the land host 24 hrs in advance. We ask guests to close any gates after them to keep sheep contained in their paddocks.

Feeding farm animals such as our chickens and sheep is also accessible with advance notice, and guests are advised to keep a safe distance from beehives. We are more than welcome to tour guests during their stay at our lovely abode!

Interaction with Guests:
No smoking inside Tiny Home.
Please check before going into paddock with livestock or approaching beehives (located some distance away from Tiny Home)

The Neighborhood:
This property sits in the rural coastal area of Tataramiaka, in Taranaki New Zealand. It's one of the best tiny house rentals in the area, only 5-mins from popular villages with great cafes, surf beaches, and other attractions.

We also recommend visiting Pukeiti, a 360-hectare rainforest property located between Mount Taranaki and the coast, about a 15-minute drive up the mountain from the property and home to an internationally renowned garden and plant collection.

- Pukekura Park is a lovely park with two lakes (providing wooden rowboats for hire in the summer), playgrounds for children, a cricket ground, a fernery, display homes, a fountain, and more.
