This bed and breakfast is located in Milton in the Otago region of the South Island, New Zealand, and is a little over a half hour by car from Brighton Beach, where guests can swim all day. Other beaches that are close by include St. Clair for surfing, Long Beach for rock climbing and cave exploring, and Tunnel Beach, which is known for its sandstone sea arch that is best visited during the low sea tide. Moreover, Lake Waihola is a close nine-minute drive from the rental and is popular for fishing, yachting, and waterskiing activities.

Taieri Gorge Railway allows guests to comfortably take in the beautiful scenery of the Central Otago hinterland. The historic train, which operates daily, takes guests through plains and gorges and over the largest wrought iron structure in the world. Guests can also cross over the bridges while the train awaits to continue the journey.

Dunedin International Airport is just a 25-minute drive from the property.

The city also provides 25 different pieces of artwork throughout the city, which are being painted on blank canvases; it's about a 90-minute walk to see all the art. For those interested in exploring on two wheels, there are plenty of trails, like Signal Hill, for downhill riding.
