This holiday rental is ideal for couples, this intimate standalone cabin is set amidst wild hydrangeas which burst into bloom in the new year, and is surrounded by native West Coast bush that offers its guests privacy, comfort, and breathtaking natural beauty.
Guests can watch the spectacular West Coast sunsets on the cabin veranda, then slide off to a dream sleep—to be greeted in the morning by a chorus of native bird life. A rimu wood-panelled interior brings warmth, character, and style to the cabin.
This glamping cabin features a fully self-contained kitchen with a refrigerator, a hob, and a microwave. There is a flat screen TV with a DVD player and a whole film selection. There is a unique stone-floored bathroom, an outside bathtub on the veranda, and free Wi-Fi connections throughout the cabin, as well as a BBQ available for hire upon request.
Glampers will find several cafes, restaurants, and a tavern which are all within walking distance to the property. A short drive away, there are more dining options should glampers wish to stop off for an evening meal or lunch.
A craft gallery and a glass bead studio is nearby. There is a Department of Conservation site located across the road from the Pancake Rocks.

For the more adventurous, the hosts offer guided horse treks through the magnificent Punakaiki Valley which finish on the Punakaiki beach. If guests have a little more time, stay a few days and discover the walking tracks in the Paparoa National Park or explore the rugged Punakaiki beaches.
There are great opportunities for half and day walks within Paparoa National park if glampers stay a few days. The walks can start from the glamping site, so no need to drive a car. Day trips to Westport, Hokitika, and Greymouth all offer a chance to do a range of activities, walks, and sightseeing.
Take an invigorating horse trek along the beach to the foot of the Pancake Rocks, ride with us into the spectacular Punakaiki river valley, within the Paparoa National Park.
