The Neighborhood:
It sits in the quiet suburbs of Ettrick, a small town in inland Otago, in the South Island of New Zealand. Where you can explore local fruit and veggie stalls in Millers Flat, and even a gallery in Roxburgh.

Our local recommendations:

- Clutha River is New Zealand's second longest river. It's the perfect spot for fishing and picnics.

- Lake Onslow is a man-made reservoir that supports pastoral farming and hydroelectricity generation.
- Pinders Pond is a tranquil place to camp and swim. Alternatively, you can also find heated pools in Roxburgh or Miller Flat if you're interested.

- Mt Benger has spectacular views over Roxburgh/Ettrick Valley. A high tussock grassland plateau, which can be quite foggy depending on the weather.

- Clutha Trail is the perfect cycling trail that winds through native woodlands, mountains and rivers. You can also arrange a drop off and pick up for a small fee of $20 with the host.
