Unique Octagonal Glamping Getaway with Gorgeous Views near Lisbon in Portugal
The Rondavel is a fully detached wooden cottage for up to 5 guests, located on our small family-run quinta on Portugal’s Silver Coast, near Nazaré. It offers privacy, beautiful views over the valley, and a peaceful countryside setting close to the beaches.
Inside, the cottage has a warm and cozy atmosphere. The main bedroom has a double bed, and the second bedroom has a bunk bed and one single bed, making it ideal for families.
There is a private bathroom with shower, toilet, and washbasin. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, fridge, coffee machine, and all necessary crockery and pans. Towels and kitchen linen are provided.
The living area includes a wood burner for cooler evenings, creating a comfortable place to relax throughout the year.
Outside, guests have their own terrace with open views over the garden and valley. The large shared garden offers space to unwind, and the pool area is perfect for cooling down on warm summer days.
Families especially enjoy the play area, game house with pool table, jeu de boules court, and space for badminton. Friendly farm animals — including a mule, donkeys, goats, sheep, chickens, cats, and dogs — are part of daily life on the quinta.
The Rondavel offers a quiet countryside stay while still being just a short drive from the beaches of Nazaré and São Martinho do Porto, and the historic town of Óbidos.
