Nestled in the hills of the Southern Washington County, New York, the Battenkill Valley is home to Cambridge, Greenwich and Salem. The lodge itself is situated in a secluded area of the Battenkill State Forest in Cambridge and offers Glampers a quiet retreat with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. The hills of Southern Washington County are notorious for its scenic farmland, lush forest and a number of wineries, craft beer breweries, and its award-winning ice cream.
Cambridge, Greenwich and Salem have an array of charming independent stores that specialize in local produce as well as several bars and restaurants that are renowned in New York State. Battenkill Valley is also the home to many historical sites such as The Revolutionary War markers and cemeteries and covered bridges.
The lodge is only a one-hour drive north-east from Albany, one-hour east of Saratoga Springs and one-hour south-east of Glen Falls.

The Battenkill Valley offers a wide-range of activities to glampers, with the Southern Washington County hills and the Battenkill river on the doorstep of the lodge, they are spoiled for choice. Out on the river, yachting, canoeing, and kayaking are all in popular demand. There are many hiking and trekking routes with varying degrees of difficulty while pheasant hunting is also a big hit with many guests. The Washington County Fair is a great change of pace as its rollercoasters, vendors, and food will all offer a highly entertaining day out with the family.
