This property is just 15 minutes from Letchworth State Park, the beautiful Grand Canyon of the East! With 100 acres of private forest, abundant wildlife sightings—Deer, Turkey, Bear, Raccoons, Coyotes, Bobcats, Beavers, Bald Eagles, Fishers, Pine Martin, etc—miles of logging road trails, and a cascading stream with waterfalls tumbling down 500 feet of elevation drop in half a mile, this getaway is full of opportunities to explore and discover. And that's just on the property!
The Grand Canyon of the East —Letchworth Park, Stonybrook State Park, the Mount Morris Dam, Swain Mountain Ski Resort, and 7,700 acres of Wildlife Management Area surround the property within an easy 15 minute drive. Outdoor activities include climbing down a rope to the hidden water falls, canoe float trips on the Genesee River, target practice with small caliber firearms, bird watching, horseback riding, walking, cycling, fishing, swimming, rafting, and hunting. When there’s snow, glampers can go snowboarding, snowmobiling, skiing, and sledding. There is also boating, golfing, and hot air ballooning nearby. Guests can take a scenic drive and visit Mount Morris for shopping, eating, antiquing, and museum perusing.
ATVs: Casual riding is allowed in season, but only by special arrangement with the host. Only three machines per party are allowed. Guests mostly provide hosts with registration and liability insurance certificates before unloading the machines. Riding after sunset is not allowed, and machines must always be kept on trails. Trails marked with “No ATVs” are clearly off limits and because of the rugged terrain, prudent speeds must be maintained.
