This is the perfect Adirondack getaway. This cabin is nestled in the forest only footsteps away from the shores of historic Big Moose Lake. Walking distance to the lake and two area restaurants and taverns. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, hiking, water-skiing, and swimming in the warmer months, or snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing in the winter.

Firewood is available for purchase and can be delivered to your cabin before your arrival. Bicycles, kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards are available at no additional charge on the shoreline of Big Moose Lake. The shoreline is across the street from this cabin.

We have over 1/2 a dozen hiking trails within less than a 3-mile radius. From Big Moose, you are only a short drive from the quaint and charming hamlets of Old Forge, Eagle Bay, and Inlet. 3 hikes on Big Moose Lake are accessible by boat only which makes them secure and quiet hikes. The hikes in our area range in all kinds of difficulty levels from easy to hard. You have access to our 3 docks in the water where you can swim or fish from. Old Forge is also home to the largest outdoor water park in New York State. The marina for Big Moose Lake is right next door so you can either rent a boat from them for your stay or if you brought a boat put it in at their in/out ramp.
