Reconnect with nature here. This glamping getaway is located in one of the best places for stargazing in NY. Wool blankets, private fire pit for cozy bonfires, and miles of forest to roam in a sparsely populated, picturesque area for a perfect nature getaway. We chose the location of the Tipi with privacy and tranquility in mind nestled between a creek, maple trees, and wildflower field. Camp is located 500 ft from the parking lot.

There's no doubt that the Sioux Indians created an incredible structure that served as their home year-round. We were inspired by their creativity and innovation, and with deep respect and appreciation we maintain and care for this structure year-round. Our aim is to provide access to a doorway that allows us to remember, to connect, and to experience the Native Way - the way to become quiet, to go inward, to become conscious, to connect with Nature and with ourselves. All are welcome here.

It is an 18ft dream and the perfect place for a comfortable and unique getaway. Custom-made furniture, wool blankets, cedar floors and handmade decor pieces have been carefully curated to create a space that is meditative, relaxing, and practical. There is undeniable magic in sitting inside a Tipi and listening to the stream and each other and waking up to the sounds of the wind and birds singing.


Solar shower cabin is located in the field. The solar shower is heated by the sun, during the colder months, it doesn't warm up that much.
Private Outhouse - features a wash station and a composting toilet.
Kitchenette: camping stove, tea kettle, drinking water, paper cups/plates, and complimentary coffee and tea.
Outside the Tipi: Private fire pit with Adirondack chairs, picnic table, a charcoal grill, 52qt cooler, and an extra-wide hammock.
There is no electricity at the Tipi - for ambiance camping lanterns are provided. WiFi - available at the farmhouse, no work station.
Private sauna session available by appointment - $25/person/hour - add this extra to your reservation at checkout.

The tipi is located 500 feet from the main farmhouse. The lush green meadow and forest create a perfect hideaway. You leave your car in our parking lot and walk about 2 minutes to the Tipi site.

Our property is bordering State land, you are free to hike and explore the miles and miles of forest surrounding the tipi.

Roxbury, NY is a charming historical hamlet in the Catskills Mountains. We have a little bit of everything: a restaurant (Chappies), two art galleries (Roxbury Arts Group & Liberal Arts Roxbury), a modern general store (Roxbury General), a wine store (Roxbury Wine & Spirits) a ski & mountain biking resort (Platekill Mtn), a farmers market (The Round Barn). We warmly recommend all of them.

Bellfire Farm is located in a picturesque, sparsely populated area accessible only by car. Parking on-premises. Bike rentals in town.

Cell service is spotty around these parts. WIFi access is only available in the parking lot or around the farmhouse. No wifi access at the Tipi.

Your camp is located in natural wildlife habitat. Bugs and critters make up our natural ecosystem and come with the territory. None of our sites are ideal for insect-phobic guests. We do everything possible to keep them outside, by thoroughly cleaning the space between guests, but some inevitably still wander in.
