Spacious Safari Tent for a Family Getaway in the Finger Lakes, New York
This spacious safari tent is an excellent option for a family getaway in the Finger Lakes wine country region of New York, and boasts easy access to a wealth of outdoor recreation near three popular Finger Lakes. The 16x16 safari tent is located on a wooden deck and comes with a queen-size bed, eclectic furnishings, and space to accommodate a max of four glampers comfortably. There is a dining table as well as plenty of storage inside the tent, and linen, bedding, and towels are kindly provided by the hosts. A hanging swing seat is just outside the front porch, overlooking a lovely koi pond. A few steps away from the Savannah Safari tent, guests will find a bathroom trailer, solar shower, and private picnic area with BBQ grill, and grilling tools.
Outdoors, glampers will find groomed hiking trails that stretch across the 30-acre woodland property, perfect for a morning hike before breakfast. The on-site pond is great for paddleboarding during the summer months, guests can feed the koi fish or catch frogs (please release and return, thanks!). Each morning, a homemade, locally sourced breakfast, made with organic ingredients wherever possible, is served in the Dining Pavilion. In the evenings, the hosts are available to light the community campfire (weather permitting) and lanterns as the sun sets, and deliver a box of Gourmet S'mores to the fire pit for guests to enjoy! Optional meal upgrades for lunch or dinner are also available - please contact the hosts in advance to inquire.
On-site, there is a shared kitchen in the Dining Pavilion that glampers are welcome to use in addition to the private BBQ grill, grilling tools and picnic table at their own respective glamping tent. Please note, there is no Wi-Fi, electricity, or street lights as this glamping experience is off-the-grid, so guests can truly "unplug" and relax.
Here, guests can enjoy a stunning glamping experience where nature meets modern amenities, and guests can enjoy its beauty without forgoing numerous creature comforts. Amenities include linens, towels, and bathroom essentials for each tent.
Within easy driving distance in any direction are numerous wineries, breweries, and distilleries of the Finger Lakes wine country region, hiking trails, waterfalls, outdoor venues for swimming, boating and more, local farm stands for fresh produce and baked goods, and other local landmarks such as the Windmill Farm and Craft Market (Saturdays, April - Nov.) or the CMAC open-air concert venue, 10 minutes north in the town of Canandaigua.
