From mid-May to mid-October glampers should bring their own sheets, blankets, pillowcases, and towels. For those who play tennis, be sure to bring a racket and guests are also welcome to bring their own lawn games. Glampers can, by all means, bring canoes, kayaks, and sailboats if they so wish.

Bring life preservers (PFDs) because New York State law require that there be one aboard for each person in any boat and that children under the age of 12 wear a preserver at all times in the boats. For glampers who do not have any PFDs, there are some available for rent at the glamping site for rent a $1.00 each for the length of stay.

Do not bring outboard motors, the host's rental outboards are 6HP on 14-foot rowboats. Larger boats or motors are not permitted on the docks. Please turn off car alarms while at this glamping site and cell phones when on the beach.

Guests are responsible for cleaning the house before leaving. Please remember that during the summer, the next family will be arriving very soon after departure and if the house is not left as found. guests could be charged an additional fee for cleaning.

Guests must bring proof of current rabies vaccination for their furry friends and dogs must be leashed at all times and are not permitted on the beach.

A bill will be produced at checkout for the amount of electricity used during the stay. The average family can expect to pay about $25 to $35 per week depending on use.

Guests will be charged on departure for the firewood that they have used.

In addition to basic charges, glampers will be billed on departure for rental items such as a motorboat, sailboat, life preservers, linens, blankets, etc. A schedule of the rental fees is posted in the cabin rental.

Pets are welcome for an additional fee.

Be kind to the environment and take care of the surroundings.

Just before glampers reach the Narrows, the gateway to the Upper Lake or East basin of Paradox, the hosts also own six acres on Briar Point which is available for guests to use during their vacation. This lovely private spot is inaccessible by road. There are three excellent picnic or camping sites there with rocks to climb on and swim from. The point faces west and makes for an ideal place for picnics or that first camping trip for children—a place to sit and watch the sunset over Blue Ridge and Hoffman Mountain.
