Deluxe Barn on a Horse Farm in Allegheny National Forest
Occupying the top of a 110-year-old barn on a 60-acre horse farm, this deluxe cabin is located in the Allegheny National Forest, Pennsylvania, and can accommodate up to six guests for a peaceful getaway full of trails to explore. Featuring 10' ceilings and aromatic cedar trim, the cabin has two bedrooms, one full bathroom, a full kitchen, and a living/dining room.
Guests will find a twin-over-twin bunk bed plus a double size bed in the first bedroom, a twin-over-double bunk bed set in the second bedroom. The bathroom has toilet, sink, and shower. Guests will need to bring their own linens, towels, and pillows.
The living area is furnished with a sofa, 2 rockers, a coffee table, a natural gas fireplace, a flat-screen television with DirecTV, and a BlueRay player with movies. The dining table seats six. The fully-equipped kitchen has a gas oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, and Keurig.
Outside, guests will find a natural gas barbecue grill for grilling up some juicy steaks and a fire ring for roasting s'mores. Guests should bring their own firewood.
Glampers can bring their own horse or horse rentals are available in the neighboring town. On-site horse accommodations include eight, 30x50-foot grassy paddocks and eight, 10x10' stalls with sawdust and a wash stall. Horse clean-up tools are provided.

Encompassing more than half a million acres of natural splendor and containing the most extensive sections of old-growth forest in all of Pennsylvania, Allegheny National Forest boasts more than 200 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. While exploring these trails, guests may spot some of the forest's abundant wildlife, which includes raccoons, red and gray foxes, beavers, white-tailed deer, and black bears.
Other attractions in the area include the Red Bandana Winery, which hosts live music on the weekends; Tionesta Market Village, which houses a variety of shops offering locally-made products; and Reiland Farm and Shoppe, which sells yarns and products made from the fibers of the angora goats, sheep, and llamas that it raises.
The cabin is about two hours from Pittsburg and Erie, Pennsylvania, where the nearest international airports are located.
