The towns of Robesonia and Womelsdorf are both less than 10 minutes drive from the rental. The city of Reading is about half an hour from the rental. Guests can enjoy the rural setting of the rental with Blue Marsh Recreation Area nearby, and Blue Marsh Lake itself is less than 10 minutes away. Berks County Wine Trail, Pheasant Valley Farm, and Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area are all similarly close by.

There is an abundance of wholesome activities for guests to enjoy in the area. Blue Marsh Recreation Area is perfect for a day out filled with active pastimes. Here, guests can hike or bike on some beautiful trails. There are also places to hire a kayak and head out on the lake. The lake has some great spots for fishing, and at certain times of the year, there is the possibility of hunting. For wine lovers, there is the Berks County Wine Trail. Guests can head to the Clover Hill Vineyards and Winery, less than five minutes away, the Calvaresi Winery, the J. Maki Winery, and the Vynecrest Winery and enjoy tours and tastings. The area is very popular for antiquing.

There are some great local restaurants to try out, and for any sports fans, there is the Santander Arena, which hosts ice hockey matches.
