In the master bedroom, there is a queen-size bed while the second bedroom boasts one single bed and a bunk bed set. A futon can be utilized in the living room for an extra guest. In the bathroom, there is a shower, a toilet, and a sink. Linens and towels are not provided.
In the living room, guests will find a satellite TV with a DVD player, a leather sofa, a coffee table, and a wood-burning fireplace. This property is the perfect vacation spot during any season. Summer months are ideal for spending time in the nearby lush forests or on the water The Keweenaw Peninsula offers calm water, open waters, and rough whitewater for visitors to paddleboat and kayak on. Portage Lake is just 25 minutes east and offers guests excellent fishing. Guests can also practice catch-and-release fishing from right outside the door on the private 10-acre lake. Hiking opportunities are numerous in the Copper Country, and there are options that truly suit people of all skill levels; from easy, wheelchair accessible paths to strenuous paths bordering on actual rock climbing.
In the winter, guests can make the most of the snow and head out for some cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or ice fishing nearby.
