About this place
This eco-glamping property boasts a spring-fed swimming pond situated on forty acres of rolling prairie, forest and wetland, surrounded by one hundred acres of Washtenaw County Nature Preserve. Six off-grid sleeping cabins dot the landscape, all within a short walk to our Common House, that includes a large gathering space, community kitchen/dining and bathrooms/shower. We offer Yoga and Meditation classes and weekend retreats year-round.
The Upper Bungalow is a 3-season canvas cabin and houses 2 twin mattresses (in a bunk bed), and a stand alone twin (with optional pullout twin under it). Open seasonally (May-Oct), this cosy space has screened in windows/doors on all four sides for the maximal amount of airflow, and minimum amount of mosquitos! • Linens and pillows (no towels) • Battery-operated fans • This non-insulated mini-cabin is located up the hill from The Lower Bungalow not far from the pond. • This cabin includes access to all hiking trails, a swimmable pond, and shared modern kitchen. • NOTE! A solar-powered composting toilet is a 5-min walk and indoor kitchen/bathroom facility with WIFI is located within 5-10 minutes walking distance. • Locally sourced and made pre-packaged meals, meditation and yoga classes, and more available for booking separately on our website.
Please note all cabins are off-grid and do not have electrical outlets, kitchen, toilet or running water in them, but Elemental Cabins do have solar lighting, heat and are fully furnished for a luxury "glamping" experience". The Common house has a Kitchen, Bathroom, Shower, Heat, AC, and electricity.
