A city in Pine County, Minnesota, Finlayson offers visitors a quaint spot to get rest at when not climbing the ice walls of Banning State Park. The park is directly east of the city, stretching 10 miles down the Kettle River. The park is composed of quick rapids, great for daring kayaking and whitewater rafting activities.
