This rustic, off-grid cabin is perfect for two guests to escape the city and get back to nature. Nestled in the Superior National Forest, Minnesota, the rental is close to the shores of Lake Superior and the town of Grand Marais. A pet-friendly rental, glampers can look forward to exploring the many trails in the forest with their four-legged friends.
The cabin features one raised double bed. It also has a small table with chairs, ideal for sitting together for a meal. The cabin's rustic feel is enhanced with lanterns, and during the winter months, guests can get a fire going in the wood-burning stove to create a cozy atmosphere. The cabin features an outside area, including a small deck, a picnic table, and a tripod barbecue over a firepit for some al fresco dining. The rental has access to an outhouse, and there is also a sauna on site for guests to relax in after a full day of activities.
This cabin is perfect for adventurers all year round. During the snowy months of the year, there is ski-in and ski-out access. The hosts also rent out skis and snowshoes, and during the summer months, guests can hire canoes and sea kayaks, as well as an alumacraft canoe, including life jackets, paddles, and a car-top carrier.
While enjoying this year-round destination, guests will find a large network of groomed trails perfect for cross-country skiing and hiking. Guests will have access to propane lanterns, firewood, and two five-gallon water containers, perfect for a true cabin experience. Guests will find a luxurious wood-fired sauna available on the property for their enjoyment. There is parking available on the property for guests, as well.
