    Since the cabin is located on the shores of the Dead Lake, there are plenty of water based sports and activities to choose from. Paddleboards and canoes are available for free for guests and pontoon boats can be rented for a cruise on the lake. The lake is also stocked with fish, especially Bluegill, and Largemouth Bass, so guests can bring their bait and tackle box and head out onto the lake to catch some fish. Fish cleaning facilities are available at the campground. For guests looking to stay dry, there are four golf courses and three state parks nearby. Also, every Wednesday in the summer there are turtle races in Perham City Park at 10 am.
