Two of America's most interesting museums are nearby, too; both the Strategic Air Command Museum (30 miles northeast) and the Museum of American Speed (downtown Lincoln) provide visitors with fascinating insights into important parts of American history, and the machines that have shaped modern life, both on the ground and in the air.
