This woodland getaway is an idyllic escape on (newly named) Amber Lake, in Lac Du Flambeau, Wisconsin. Rebuilt in 2001, this version of the cabin rental offers more room than before, with a fantastic screen porch looking out toward the lake. With a half-log exterior and a custom, knotty-pine interior, as well as bamboo wood floors in the kitchen, the cabin is modern while it maintains its rustic charm. There are two bedrooms - one with a double bed, and a second bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed - sleeping up to eight guests.

In the living room, there is a queen-size fold-out bed. It is in the living area where guests also have a flat-screen TV with DirecTV and a DVD player, making it the perfect spot for a movie night after a day of fun outside. Lastly, if guests don't feel like eating out, the cabin has a full kitchen for cooking meals, along with a Weber charcoal grill outside. Free Wi-Fi is also provided.

Guests staying here have everything they need to feel at home - a full kitchen, a flat-screen for family movie nights, and other staples of home. Guests also have access to all of the resort facilities. There is a disc golf course, playground, basketball and sand volleyball courts, paddle boats, kayaks, canoes, and even paddle boards. Guests can hike, bike, or cross-country ski the many marked trails throughout the Northwoods area, from the Nicolet National Forest trails and Northern Highland State Forest trails to Oneida County trails and many others. When there is snow, guests can also go downhill skiing at the many ski resorts in the region. Big Powder Horn, Indianhead Mountain, Mount Bohemia, Whitecap Mountain, Ski Brule, and a few others are easily accessible and offer a day of family fun in the snow.
