With the town of Minocqua only 15 miles away, guests will find the property accessible yet still secluded and private. The property has over 500 feet of shoreline on Squaw Lake, where guests can relax on the sugar-sand coast and cool off in the water. Guests have 45 acres of property to explore when they come to stay here, but also the Northwoods surrounding them. This area of Wisconsin is home to over 3200 lakes, streams, and rivers, over half a million acres of public forest, and the Chequamegon, Nicolet, and Ottawa National Forests. Year after year, families and friends return to this property to experience all it has to offer, from a disc golf course to sandy beaches, there truly is something for everyone.

Guests here will easily be able to fill their days with outdoor fun. In the summer, Squaw Lake is the perfect place to spend the day, and even better on the property's sugar-sand beach. From the two docks, guests may go kayaking, canoeing, or paddle boarding, fishing, and swimming. The beach is a great place to bring a picnic on a summer day and spend a day with the family in the water. Outside of the resort, the Northwoods offers another host of activities. Guests can hike, bike, or cross-country ski the many marked trails throughout the Northwoods area, from the Nicolet National Forest trails and Northern Highland State Forest trails to Oneida County trails and many others. When there is snow, guests can also go downhill skiing at the many ski resorts in the region. Big Powder Horn, Indianhead Mountain, Mount Bohemia, Whitecap Mountain, Ski Brule, and a few others are easily accessible and offer a day of family fun in the snow.
