This private pet-friendly cabin with forest views near Aspen, Colorado, is as spacious as it is luxurious, designed to maximize comfort with unique cabin-themed pieces accenting every room. In the living room, large plush sofas face the enormous floor-to-ceiling window looking out over the mountains, adorned with patterned throw blankets and thick pillows in every chair. A large television and a table with board games sits in the corner, providing the perfect entertainment for guests who want to spend a relaxing night in. The kitchen has a large wooden table that seats four, as well as an island with leather-seated bar stools in the corner. The brick tile floors, log-paneled walls, and thick exposed ceiling beams give the cabin a rustic, vintage feel in addition to the refined furniture and rich colors throughout the cabin.
The master suite has a king-sized bed, its own television, and large sliding glass doors to access the private balcony. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking large meals, with an oven, stove, refrigerator, microwave, a coffee maker, and plenty of pots and pans. There is a wood-burning fireplace in the living room, as well as board games and activities for guests to use at their leisure. The cabin is situated just off the property of the Aspen Mountain Resort, about a mile from the town of Aspen itself. Surrounded by trees that give the cabin plenty of privacy, guests will have views of the nearby mountain tops and nature from the comfort of their living room. The cabin is also nestled right in the meeting point between the White River National Forest and Gunnison National Forest, which are both expansive tracts of Colorado natural landscape known for their breathtaking beauty. The area surrounding Aspen is packed with activities and opportunities to explore the nature of Colorado during all seasons of the year. With four ski resorts nearby, guests will have their pick of the slopes, whether they are skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, or cross-country skiing. The national forests above and below the cabin are full of hiking trails and rock climbing opportunities in Maroon Bells, Buttermilk Mountain, or Independence Pass. Roaring Fork, the large river near Aspen, is perfect for rafting or white water kayaking during the summer as well.
The town of Aspen is also well known for its various Film and Music Festivals, which occur at various points during the year. The town attracts a lot of art exhibitions outside of its permanent galleries and also has a medley of options as far as boutique shops and restaurants are concerned. Guests will also find scenic breweries and the legendary Ashcroft Ghost Town in the vicinity.
