About this place

This 700 square foot cabin can accommodate up to four guests. It is fully furnished the bedroom includes a queen-size bed along with a queen-size pull-out couch for extra sleeping space. There is also a bar area, a living room, and a kitchen. The kitchen area has a refrigerator, a microwave, a popcorn popper, cookware, utensils, a Crock-pot and many other miscellaneous kitchen tools. Guests are free to cook their own meals, but please keep in mind there are no ovens.

Outside, there is a fire pit where glampers can enjoy the true camping experience by roasting marshmallows at night.

This cabin is pet-friendly. There is a $10 fee per pet, per night.

Finally, there is a central bathhouse on this property that is shared between this cabin and two others. It has a shower, a toilet, and a sink. There is also an outhouse located at the opposite end of the property for those not wanting to wait for the toilet at the bathhouse.

There is a bathhouse available for those units that do not already have a bathroom in them. Blankets and pillows are provided. It is preferred for guests to bring their own toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, as well as linens or a sleeping bag.

There is a dumpster available on the property.

Guests will also have access to a gas grill and a fire pit. There is no wood stove.

For larger groups or families, the property also includes other cabins which can be rented together to accommodate more guests. If interested, guests should inquire with the host upon booking, who will provide further instructions.

Due to the winter season, running water has been shut off in three out of the four cabins. The host tries to keep the water running in the bathhouse. This happens near the end of October until the end of April. Guests should inquire with the host about water supply during the off-season.

The host kindly asks that guests leave the cabin as they found it, or better. This is the guests' home during their stay, and they should treat it that way. This means cleaning and putting away dishes, cleaning the counters, and cleaning all floors and rugs (shaken out and put back as found, and if the floors are wooden, swept.) Guests should also haul off trash, and if there is a dumpster available, leave it there. The dumpster is on the property from May to October. Guests should not leave any trash in the building or outside exposed to the elements (like bears, birds, and wind). If guests do not comply with these rules, there will be a $50 deduction.

The prices listed for this cabin are based on double occupancy. For each person after two, there is a $10 fee per night. Each pet is also an additional $10 per night. If not informed of extra guests or pets the fee will increase to $20 per night. The property has a "scoop the poop" policy when it comes to pets, and the hosts kindly request guests do not leave pets or children unattended at all times. If left unattended in the cabin or out, there will be an additional charge of $50. Guests should discuss any pet options with the host Jeff or the property manager prior to arrival.

Note: If glampers bring extra guests (people or pets) and did not include when booking it is best they inform the host immediately and/or use the dropbox on the property located at Jeff's house. If guests do not inform the host/use the dropbox, they will be charged double when leaving. This will come out of the guest's damage deposit. That will be $20 per night for each and not $10. Honesty is the best policy, or guests will lose their deposit. This has happened too many times to the host, and this measure will keep it from happening in the future. It took many years to fix these places up, and the host expects to be paid and treated fairly.

The host also urges that guests bring the following with them: Linens for beds (blankets provided), towels, dishcloths, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, drinking water (if guests don't like well water), and firewood if possible. Firewood is available, but guests must be conservative in their use.

Before checking out, the hosts ask that guests do the following:

Guests should make sure the wood box is full and ready for the next guest. Make sure the wood is the type that is dry, and small to medium-sized so those who arrive next can easily start the fire.

Guests should make sure dishes are clean and put away, and that the counters are left clean and make sure that floors are clean, and that rugs have been shaken out and put back as found. If the floor is wooden, guests should sweep. There are brooms and dustpans for guests to use. If the floor is carpet, then they can use the vacuum.

Guests must take garbage with them. If the on-site dumpster is available, guests may use that. The dumpster is on the property from May until October.

Finally, guests simply must clean any areas they used, including bathrooms and outside areas.

Please be respectful of all guests and leave everything clean. Please remind children to do the same.
