Additional Information
The prices listed for this cabin are based on double occupancy. For each person after two, there is a $10 fee per night. Each pet is also an additional $10 per night. If not informed of extra guests or pets the fee will increase to $20 per night. The property has a "scoop the poop" policy when it comes to pets, and the hosts kindly request guests do not leave pets or children unattended at all times. If left unattended in the cabin or out, there will be an additional charge of $50 and guests are in danger of losing their deposit. Guests should discuss any pet options with the host Jeff or the property manager prior to arrival.
Note: If glampers bring extra guests (people or pets) and did not include when booking it is best they inform the host immediately and/or use the dropbox on the property located at Jeff's house. If guests do not inform the host/use the dropbox, they will be charged double when leaving. This will come out of the guest's damage deposit. That will be $20 per night for each and not $10. Honesty is the best policy, or guests will lose their deposit. This has happened too many times to the host, and this measure will keep it from happening in the future. It took many years to fix these places up, and the host expects to be paid and treated fairly.
The $250 damage deposit is 100% refundable if the cabin is left as found. The host stresses that guests need to leave their accommodations as they were found, or better.
The host also urges that guests bring the following with them: Linens for beds (blankets provided), towels, dishcloths, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, drinking water (if guests don't like well water), and firewood if possible. Firewood is available, but guests must be conservative in their use.
Before checking out, the hosts ask that guests do the following:
Guests should make sure the wood box is full and ready for the next guest. Make sure the wood is the type that is dry, and small to medium-sized so those who arrive next can easily start the fire.
Guests should make sure dishes are clean and put away, and that the counters are left clean and make sure that floors are clean, and that rugs have been shaken out and put back as found. If the floor is wooden, guests should sweep. There are brooms and dustpans for guests to use. If the floor is carpet, then they can use the vacuum.
Guests must take garbage with them. If the on-site dumpster is available, guests may use that. The dumpster is on the property from May until October.
Finally, guests simply must clean any areas they used, including bathrooms and outside areas.
If guests do not do any of the above, there will be a $50 deduction from the guests' deposit.
Please be respectful of all guests and leave everything clean. Please remind children to do the same.
