Inside, glampers will enjoy about 900 square feet of living area to spread out and relax.

There is a bathroom with hot and cold running water, and there is also a fully equipped kitchen next to the open living area and wood stove. The yurt boasts two twin beds in the loft, as well as two full-size futons in the main area, but kids are often known to “set up camp” on the floor beside the wood stove. The game table doubles as the dining table.

This beautiful yurt sits on a large, raised deck where guests will find a gas grill and plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy the refreshing Colorado mountain air. A new fire pit and patio located a short walk from the front steps are recent additions to this stunning rental. On lovely summer days, guests can open up the side windows and let in a cool breeze or stay cozy within the insulated real cedar walls on a cold, snowy winter afternoon.

Established as a big game hunting camp by the owners, this site has corrals and a loafing shed for horses or mules, and there is plenty of parking and room to pitch a tent. There are miles and miles of trails on the property and near the site.

COVID-19 Actions

We're as concerned about preventing the spread of Covid as anyone. Due to the remote location and "off-the-grid" nature of The YURT at Screwball Ranch, commercial cleaning services are not available. So, we completely clean and disinfect our Yurt ourselves between every guest visit. As a result, we know the job is completed.
