Unique Tiny House Rental on a Solar Ranch near Rio Grande National Forest, Colorado
"I cannot say enough incredible things about our stay, so let me start with the hosts: Kim Anna & Mike were two of the loveliest people I've ever met.…"
This tiny house rental is located on a 35-acre solar ranch near Monte Vista, Colorado, close to the stunning Rio Grande National Forest, and can accommodate two guests in a one-of-a-kind dwelling that has been featured in multiple publications, including Faerie Magazine.
Inside, they will find a single studio-style space that combines a bedroom with a kitchenette, dining area, and full bathroom. The tiny house was hand-built by the hosts with cordwood and recycled wine and beer bottles, which provide it with unique and colorful stained-glass-window-like accents throughout the interior. The sleeping area features a cozy, queen-size bed. In the bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Linens, towels, and shampoo are provided.
The kitchenette comes with a small refrigerator, a two-burner stove, a granite countertop, a French press, and a supply of ground, organic coffee. In the dining area, guests will find a table for two and a television with a DVD player. Other amenities include antique furnishings, heating, and supplies for making a breakfast of oatmeal and fresh eggs from the hosts' chickens when they are available. Outside, guests will find a patio area with seating and a table with chairs, as well as an adult-sized swing set.
