This stunning Mongolian yurt is perfect for anyone looking for an unusual glamping experience. Nestled among the scrub oak atop a five-foot tall deck, guests will find this stunning structure. Its hand-painted, traditional framework contrasts beautifully with the surrounding national forest, and guests will not be disappointed by the luxurious amenities inside. It is fully insulated by hand, wind-proof, and water-proof, so glamping can be enjoyed year round in total comfort. There is a warm, comfortable bed, as well as a stove to keep guests cozy and toasty. The beautiful Mongolian furnishings inside are exotic and traditionally built and elaborately painted to provide an otherworldly experience for glampers. Step outside onto the tall deck to take in stunning views of the La Plata Mountains and surrounding national forest each day.

This glamping site has a variety of green spaces and outdoor facilities that guests can enjoy. The hosts are dedicated to tending their flock of Navajo Churro Sheep which congregate around the lovingly tended barn. The greenhouse has over 2,600 square feet of plants from fruiting trees to herbs and flowers. Guests can take a stroll through several gardens during their stay where they can enjoy the sight and smell of a variety of produce, fruit and herbs.
