This Log Cabin is located in the eastern outskirts of Durango, Colorado, where it is situated on a fully-fenced, 76-acre property full of trails winding through ponderosa and juniper pines. From the cabin's wraparound deck, guests will enjoy views of La Plata Mountains, the Florida Mesa, and wildlife such as deer, elk, and wild turkey.

This cabin is 15 miles south of San Juan National Forest, which encompasses 1.8 million acres of diverse landscapes and environments, such as high desert mesas, meadows, canyons, and towering alpine peaks. San Juan National Forest, in turn, merges into Rio Grande National Forest and an array of other national forests that stretch all the way north past Cheyenne, Wyoming, and all the way south to Santa Fe, New Mexico, encompassing millions upon millions of acres of pristine wilderness along the way.

Within an hour's drive, guests will also find Durango Mountain Resort, a number of hot springs, and Mesa Verde National Park, which is home to the country's largest archaeological preserve, with over 4,300 sites—including 600 well-preserved Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings. This cabin is three and a half hours away from Albuquerque, where the nearest international airport is located.
