Gardner

Gardner is a small community in Colorado which lies in the south of the state. It is close to the famous city of Pueblo, and is defined by the unique sand dunes that lie to the west. It is somewhere that comes alive in the summertime, when many people flock to the dunes in the hope of having the hike of their life. You can find the best of these sandy monuments by heading to Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, where you can also indulge in a range of activities. Gardner Butte is the community’s resident extinct volcano, and the nearby Blanca Peak provides the perfect opportunity for hiking, and you can also catch sight of snowy peaks here when winter rolls around.
