Additional info

The host kindly asks that guests leave the cabin as they found it, or better. This is the guests' home during their stay, and they should treat it that way. This means cleaning and putting away dishes, cleaning the counters, and cleaning all floors and rugs (shaken out and put back as found, and if the floors are wooden, swept). Guests should also take away trash, and if there is a Dumpster available, leave it there. The Dumpster is on the property from May to October. Guests should not leave any trash in the building or outside exposed to the elements. If guests do not comply with these rules, there will be a $50 deduction.

The prices listed for this cabin are based on double occupancy. For each person after two, there is a $10 fee per night. Each pet is also an additional $10 per night.

If additional guests are not cleared with the host prior to arrival, guests will be charged double when leaving. That will be $20 per night for each and not $10.

The host also urges that guests bring the following with them: Linens for beds (blankets provided), towels, dish cloths, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, drinking water (if guests don't like well water), and firewood if possible. Firewood is available, but guests must be conservative in their use.

Before checking out, the hosts asks that guests do the following:

Make sure the wood box is full and ready for the next guest. The wood should be dry, and small to medium-sized so those who arrive next can easily start the fire.

Make sure dishes are clean and put away, and that the counters are left clean.

Make sure that floors are clean, and that rugs have been shaken out and put back as found. If the floor is wooden, guests should sweep. There are brooms and dust pans for guests to use. If the floor is carpet, then use the vacuum.

Guests must take garbage with them. If the on-site Dumpster is available, guests may use that. The Dumpster is on the property from May until October.

Finally, guests simply must clean any areas they used, including bathrooms and outside areas.

Guests should be respectful of all guests and leave everything clean, reminding children to do the same.
