Most mountain cabins force you to choose between being remote in the woods or having modern comforts, but this spot gives you both. You are tucked away in the trees of Pine with sweeping Rocky Mountain views and quick access to trailheads at Staunton State Park and fly fishing on the South Platte River. The difference is what happens when you get back from the woods. Instead of roughing it, you get to soak under dark starry skies in the private hot tub, curl up in the library nook, or kick back on deep, comfortable living room furniture with an epic TV and sound system. It is a true secluded base camp that actually feels like a warm, lived-in home, managed by real Colorado locals who want your trip to be effortless.
Tucked away among the ponderosas of Pine, Colorado, in the heart of Pike National Forest, this secluded spot lets you disconnect from the noise under quiet, dark night skies.

You are surrounded by some of the Front Range's best outdoor recreation:

-Parks & Trails: Minutes from world-class hiking, trail running, mountain biking, and climbing at Staunton State Park and scenic trails along the water at Pine Valley Ranch Park.
-Water Adventures: Short drive to legendary Gold Medal trout fly fishing in Cheesman Canyon and along the South Platte River, plus paddleboarding at Wellington Lake.
-Mountain Dining: 10 to 15 minutes to local coffee shops, craft breweries, and cozy mountain dining in Pine Junction and nearby Conifer.
This cabin is the ultimate launchpad for outdoor adventure in every season. You are just minutes from world-class hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing at Staunton State Park, as well as the scenic lake trails and picnic spots at Pine Valley Ranch Park. Fly fishermen come from all over for the legendary Gold Medal waters along the South Platte River and Cheesman Canyon, which are both a short drive away. In the summer, you can spend the day paddleboarding, kayaking, or hiking around Wellington Lake. When winter rolls in, you are surrounded by snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails in Pike National Forest, making this a year-round playground for anyone who loves the mountains.
