Rustic Log Cabins in Wind River Mountain Range, Wyoming

Cabin in Lander, WY

2 guests

If you choose to stay at this Wind River Range lodging site, you’ll be in for quite an experience in one of the beautifully made log cabins. Since this is Wyoming's highest and most remote dude ranch, they are completely off the grid. The site is proud of the rustic comfort provided to guests in each painstakingly handcrafted log cabin. The ranch may be small, but it is quite friendly. You’ll find propane lights, a sink and a heater within each cozy log cabin, and there is a shower house nearby. In the summer, daylight lasts until bedtime, which is perfect for post-dinner conversation and relaxation on the porch of the main lodge while taking in the spectacular alpine sunsets over towering snowcapped peaks. There is also a nightly horse stampede that is also quite exciting to see, as 70 horses thunder through the corral gate to graze in the unfenced mountain meadows. Experience the unique wilderness hospitality and the mountain grandeur that can only be enjoyed far away from noisy highways and crowded civilization. You will be in awe at night when the stars start shining and when you see the vast expanse of the Milky Way. With no distraction of town lights, the skies become a stargazer’s paradise. There’s no better way to spend time and create lasting memories with your family.

Cabins are complete with bedding, pillows, and towels for Mountain Ranch Vacation guests. Facilities include shower houses and outhouses.
