This dog-friendly, waterfront cabin rental is located right on the banks of Long Pond in Denmark, Maine. It can accommodate up to six guests, with space for a maximum of four adults. There are two cozy bedrooms and one full bathroom. The first bedroom features a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom, situated in the loft, features a double-size bed and two single-size beds. In the traditional country-style bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower and bathtub combination. The host asks that glampers bring along their own linens and towels.

Inside, the property is heated throughout and comes with cooling ceiling fans. A cozy wood-burning stove can be found in the lounge. Those who need to stay connected will have access to a telephone. Right on the property, there's a private beach, which is clean, sandy, and shallow at the shore, making it perfect for families with children. The host provides row boats and tubes, for those who want to go for a relaxing float on the pond. Guests can also enjoy a spot of fishing, and can hope to reel in trout and largemouth bass. Fantastic hiking and biking is available throughout the area, with trails to suit most ages and abilities. Douglas Mountain is a 30-minute drive from the property, and is a particularly good family hike, as it's short, and features sweeping views right to the ocean. Keen golfers will be pleased to know that there are some superb courses not too far from the property. The closest is in Bridgton, around 13 miles away. Winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy seasonal skiing and snowboarding at nearby resorts, including Pleasant Mountain, Attitash, Wildcat Mountain, and Sunday River. Snowshoeing and snowmobiling are also available in the area.
The nearby town of Cornish is well worth a visit. It's the perfect place to find a unique souvenir or gift, as it boasts numerous antique and craft shops. It's also a great spot to find a delicious bite to eat, and many visitors come from miles around to dine in one of the town's fabulous restaurants. The most well-known of these is probably the Bay Haven Lobster Pound. Glampers lucky enough to visit the property during October can head to the famous Fryeburg Fair. This huge agricultural event features shows, displays, a petting zoo, live entertainment, and amusement attractions.
