This accommodation is located in Friendship, Maine, where it is situated on the coast of a peninsula jutting out into the Muscongus Bay of the Gulf of Maine. Set between Floods Cove on one side and Hatchet Cove on the other, the peninsula provides guests with a peaceful seaside setting in which to reconnect to the great outdoors.

A number of natural areas can be reached within a 30-minute drive, including the Pleasant Point Nature Preserve, the Oyster River Bog Trail Head, and the Salt Bay Heritage Trail. At the nature preserve, guests will find 65 acres of woodlands and wetlands, a one-and-a-half-mile trail system, and a 250-foot-long raised boardwalk.

Further afield within a 45-minute drive, guests can also visit the Hog Island Audubon Camp, the Todd Wildlife Sanctuary, Camden Hills State Park, the Colby Wildlife Preserve, the Dodge Point Preserve, the Beech Hill Preserve, and a number of trails and trailheads, including the Aldermere Farm Lily Pond Trail, the Thorndike Brook Trailhead, and the Georges Highland Path Trailhead.
