With over 750,000 acres of pristine, protected wilderness to the south and the east, and easy access to rural and small town New Hampshire and Vermont to the north and the west, the site is perfectly situated for guests to take in the New England countryside and enjoy all of the wonders it has to offer.

The center of Franconia is just a few miles to the north, and there are a number of other small towns nearby—including Bethlehem, Sugar Hill, Lisbon, and Littleton, which offer opportunities for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The site is about an hour and 20 minutes east of Montpelier, Vermont; an hour and a half north of Manchester, New Hampshire; two hours and 20 minutes north of Boston, Massachusetts; two and a half hours west of Portland, Maine; and three hours south of Montreal, Quebec.
