This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stay in one of the cabins that formerly hosted guests including John Wayne and Andy Devine. Built in the 1940s, these three luxury cabins are full of rustic form but are also up to date on modern amenities. Each unique cabin has a private outhouse with a bath, and guests have access to a communal shower in the main lodge. There is Wi-Fi service inside these vacation home rentals, and they each have a cozy wood-burning stove.
The Duke: This is the cabin that formerly hosted John Wayne. It has one double-size bed and one single-size bed.
Grub Stake: This cabin has a double-size bed and a single-size bed. It also has a sitting room that could sleep an additional guest. It overlooks the tranquil creek.
Bear’s Den: This cabin has two single-size beds.
Wi-Fi is provided at this glamping site for the convenience of guests. There is also a wood-fired hot tub that is sensational to use in snowy weather. The wood-fired sauna is also a great way to rejuvenate after a long day of exploring. Set on 11 acres of private land, guests can enjoy the beautiful Alaskan wilderness that surrounds this glamping site. The wooden walls and furniture are bound to give guests a true outdoorsy feel that will complement the stunning views of Alaska that surround them.
