Description of Glamping Units
This beautifully-designed modern yurt is set on a six-acre farm overlooking the historic town of Haleiwa, Hawaii, and 80 acres of farmland, making it secluded and yet very accessible. The location of this property is a short three-minute drive down the hill to the world-famous Haleiwa and north shore beaches with white sands and awesome surf spots and tons of beach activities.
The rental is a one-of-a-kind experience in a two-story, 30-foot yurt that comfortably sleeps five guests and is a great, safe spot for children. The yurt features a spiral staircase, ocean themes throughout, and even has a sailboat couch. The upstairs has a private bedroom, which showcases a queen-size bed suspended by rope to give that floating feel. Downstairs has a king bed on a platform with two single beds that roll out from under it for the kids.
Moreover, the yurt features a unique full kitchen with sand- and beach-infused counters, an Olea surfboard island for dining, a computer desk and work area office, and a lounge area to hang out and watch the spectacular sunsets. The stylish bathroom comes with an outdoor shower to wash all that sand off after a long day at the beach.
This property is completely off-the-grid and features solar power, a water catchment with a rain harvest water purification system, and a flushing composting toilet.
Guests will be able to watch the sunrise over the mountains, see the sunset over the ocean, relax surrounded by sublime natural beauty, and be within easy reach of an array of local attractions and activities—all the ingredients for an unforgettable vacation.
