The lodge is set in the stunning, real-life paradise of the Island of Hawaii, with one of the world’s most beautiful active volcanoes just a short distance away from the bed and breakfast property. In Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, guests can hike up the Kilauea volcano to see the sunrise or dine at sunset with views of the natural phenomenon at any point during their stay. The Mauna Loa summit is also highly praised, with equally breathtaking views from the island’s second active volcano. On Chain of Craters Road, which is accessible within the park near the coastline, guests can view active molten lava flow descending into the valley below.

Volcano Village is a charming town for glampers seeking to try some local food, with a number of bistros, restaurants, and bars to choose from. The Big Island is also well known for its heritage sites and landmarks, like Kealakekua Bay and Pu’uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park, which provide insight into ancient Hawaiian culture and religion. Of course, guests can also head out to any of the island’s famed beaches for a few relaxing hours under the Pacific island sun.
